Ok -- at first it was funny

This is ridiculous.  I am now getting hate mail from people for voting against that coffee cart.  I am telling you right now --- I will never vote for anything like that coffee cart -- ever.

I am proud that I voted no.

At first I thought it was Art Pimentel playing a joke on me.  Now I think these people are serious.

That was not the best use of $90,000.

From the people that brought you the toad tunnel....only thing better is a coffee cart in the toad tunnel....kinda the pick you up you need after being flattened by an 18 wheeler....put on your tin foil cone-hat and go with the flow!

I don't think it's very funny and I think DPD made a great case as to why it's a viable, great idea.

As far as I understand, the money funding the coffee stand was earmarked for services to developmentally disabled populations. Following religious (and republican) dogma one is literally teaching another "to fish." How can that possibly be wrong? As far as I see it, the coffee cart is a long run good value to the community...but one that is very simplistically spun the other way.

Of course, most American "christians" couldn't give a flying &@*@ about the poor/disabled...other than on Sunday from 10:30-11:30.
