INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN PUBLIC WORKSHOPS To further define agricultural districts for the Yolo County General Plan Update Please join us at one or more workshops to discuss the use of agricultural districts in the Yolo County General Plan Update.  The County Board of Supervisors has directed staff to further explore the concept of agricultural districts as a tool to promote agriculture and agricultural tourism within each of the proposed areas. Working with the County Agricultural Commissioner, staff has developed a basic definition of the proposed agricultural districts (please see attached).  The purpose of the workshops is to invite additional comments, ideas, and public discussion that will be used by staff in writing language that will define and describe the districts in the upcoming Draft General Plan.
