Mark it down. Remind me. Hold me to it.
I just learned about this whole Ripon cheerleader thing. Here is the story.
There is something that tells me that something like this will end up being part of my future. If it does, I will be backing the Vice-Principal. This is not about showing bloomers -- it is about disobeying authority.
These parents should be supporting the school district. This is where kids learn from their mistakes. If the parents appeal the suspension and win it will be teaching these cheerleaders exactly the wrong lesson. |

Those school officials seem fascist and authoritarian to me. I think it's great for the parents to fight, and I also think it teaches a lesson much more important than acquiescence ever would. Are we trying to produce intelligent, independent thinkers or are we trying to produce Republicans?!

Boy, to long for the good old days when the "pornification" of our schools would have been abhorred. When the male teachers wore button down shirts, ties and jackets and the female teachers wore dresses and not "capri pants" and other casual attire. Once each and every one of us buys into the liberal attitudes towards education then the condomed cucumber becomes more important than E=mc2, Where the THREE R"S become the Four R's, Reading, Writing, "rithmetic and Raunch. Our schools are becoming a "Girls Gone Wild" cesspool and we are ALL culpable by just standing by and letting it happen, You all can start by going to church, signing the Referendum for SB 777, hold the elected school board accountable and raising cane with our elected officials that are allowing the undermining our Schools, their principles and staffs under the Capitol dome. 'Nuff said.
