AD 8 Article in Sunday Davis Enterprise By Matt Rexroad on Sunday, January 21, 2007 @ 7:29 AM :: 1 Comments :: Blog   Elisabeth Sherwin has an article on the front page of the Davis Enterprise today about the Democrat primary in 2008.  The candidates she lists are West Sacramento Mayor Christopher Cabaldon, Yolo County Supervisor Mike McGowan, Yolo County Supervisor Mariko Yamada, Vacaville City Councilman Steve Hardy, and Davis City Councilman Don Saylor.  What a wild time this is going to be. When the article goes up on the Enterprise website I will link to it here. Several points If four people from Yolo County run and only one from Solano County runs I will put my money on a candidate from Solano. I am told that Lois Wolk is telling people it is Cabaldon's "turn". More importantly, I am told that the Speaker of the Assembly thinks it is Cabaldon't "turn" too. Organized labor will not go with Cabaldon.  They are encouraging Yamada partialy just to get back at Cabaldon. Everyone like Mike McGowan. How can you not like the guy? The CCPOA (Correctional Officers) were in the Hardy camp in 2002 and would likely be there again this time. Having people that serve together running for the same office would not be fun at all.
