The difficulty of doing business in Woodland? > Rexroad.com

I encourage you to read this story in the Daily Democrat.

The thing that kills me about this article is that my point of view was expressed in the last two paragraphs of the article by Art Pimentel.

Woodland Councilman Art Pimentel said anyone who is having problems starting a business or who has suggestions for the city should contact the council.

"I would encourage individuals to come forward," Pimentel said. "Our goal is to be as business friendly as possible and to meet the expectations of the community."

If the people described in this article can spend a year and tens of thousands of dollars waiting for an answer from the city of Woodland you would think they would be able to e-mail a member of the city council or dial the seven digits of my phone number.

The Woodland City Council is great in terms of communication. You can e-mail any of the five and get a response. You can call most of them and get a call back right away. It is there for you....use it.
